You know I love your writing and how committed you are to live mindfully, both as a human and as a parent. But most of all I love when (and how) you write about your father! The kids are (and going to be) alright!
About your question on the kids (I speak in context of my nephews and my friends kids), not so much flummoxed but I’ve always been in awe of their worldview and the way they handle themselves, all things considered. While it’s true their challenges are far more complex and way bigger than when we were kids, so is their resilience and intelligence. Every time I apply the same principles as i try and do with my peers: to listen, observe, treat them with respect, kindness and trust, I have always been left richer with their interactions. Every time i haven’t, I’ve been humbled with that sass 😆.
Loved this, Vasant!
Thanks so much!

This is really the reason why I was so drawn to Ziddi girls. Felt the same sense of awe at their resiliance
