…but continue to influence me from the beyond nonetheless!
I found this piece particularly captivating. Strangely enough, on my commute to work this morning, I was contemplating how to make more time for my aging father. The touching stories shared within it underscore how the people we encounter in life influence and mold us in different ways, and how their impact lingers on. It reaffirms my commitment to investing more time and effort in building meaningful connections with those still present in my life, while also taking moments to reflect on the ones who have passed away. Thank you for sharing such a powerful and meaningful message.
This was so lovely and really has me feel-thinking. What a good question! I have specific thoughts about three of my four grandparents, all of whom I feel connection to. But the one I want to ask is of the fourth, my mothers mother. I want to ask her, “what did you love? Who were you before you became all about serving others?”
Thinking of all the departed dears who were and still are big part of our lives I pray with you with love
I'd love to reconnect with my grandfather - Bapu ji because we did not have the chance to make an acquaintance. His enterprising stories are the ones that make my eyes twinkle even today as I think I am trying to find his entrepreneurial spirit within me.
