This was so lovely and really has me feel-thinking. What a good question! I have specific thoughts about three of my four grandparents, all of whom I feel connection to. But the one I want to ask is of the fourth, my mothers mother. I want to ask her, “what did you love? Who were you before you became all about serving others?”
I'd love to reconnect with my grandfather - Bapu ji because we did not have the chance to make an acquaintance. His enterprising stories are the ones that make my eyes twinkle even today as I think I am trying to find his entrepreneurial spirit within me.
