Dearest Yet Untitler,
These short poems are all I can manage these days!
Hope you’re enjoying them. The context to this one is that I’m on a pretty chaotic film shoot. The rest (the state of my head) I hope you’ll gather from my words below!
Lots of love
V
There'a a lot of shouting around me
And its doing something to my poise
It’s so hard to think straight
In the grip of all this Noise.
I feel like stepping out and walking away from my head
Leave behind my bombarded ears for the dead
The Noise is thick like cheese cake
That I wade through hard for my art's sake
Noise is the rain to the grass of my stress
Noise: the soundtrack of a great big mess.
Watching the noise a bit removed from the lawn
The yellow flowers, patient through the hard hours
That have ticked, unforgiving, past the dawn,
They tremble, yet hold on to their poise
Those flowers are going to help me
Get through all the noise.
“The Noise is thick like cheese cake”- favourite part!
PS: I detest cheese- it so perfectly resonates haha! *hi-5* 🙋🏻♀️
Lovely Vasant!
